Etaten skal sørge for en god og tilstrekkelig vannforsyning og en god og miljømessig riktig avløpshåndtering.Bergen Vann drifter og forvalter de kommunale vann- og avløpsanleggene i Bergen kommune og drifter de kommunale vann- og avløpsanleggene i Bjørnafjorden kommune.
