Rammeavtalen skal dekke brannalarmanlegg (omfatter alarmorganisering) og nødlys og ledesystemer i forbindelse med akutte utbedringsarbeider, planlagte vedlikeholdsarbeider og mindre rehabiliteringsprosjekter.

Eiendommer kan bli lagt til eller tatt ut av rammeavtalen i løpet av kontraktsperioden, og årsaken til dette kan for eksempel være nybygg, rehabilitering og rivning. Nye anlegg som kommer inn i rammeavtalen skal ha samme betingelser.
