Bymiljøetaten skal tilrettelegge Steinsvikneset g.nr [http://g.nr] 39 b.nr [http://b.nr] 742 for friluftsliv og gjøre det mer attraktivt som lokalt friområde og badeplass.

Det skal etableres en snusløyfe med syv parkeringsplasser. Et naust skal vedlikeholdes, og det etableres en platting med flytebrygge. Det skal etableres turvei fra parkering til de to badeområdene. På området skal det bygges et toalett. På området skal det være tre benkeplasser med langbord og tilrettelegging for sykkelparkering ved de to badeområdene.

Det er et mål om at friluftsområdet skal være klar for bruk sommeren 2027.
