I dag oppleves utilstrekkelig kontroll med administrasjon av kommunens biler, for de biler som ikke inngår i eksisterende biladministrasjonsløsning hos Hjemmetjenesten.Ved å innlemme alle kommunens biler i én biladministrasjonsløsning vil vi søke å oppnå bedre kontroll og oversikt over biler og bruken av dem, gjennom blant annet forbedret administrasjon av nøkler, kjørebok, serviceavtaler, forsikringer og skademeldinger.Kommunen har også behov for mer kontroll over innkjøpstidspunkt for biler, og dermed bedre oversikt over når biler skal byttes ut. Det er også behov for overvåking av kjøretøyenes tilstand og ytelse, og varsel til biladministrator om behov for vedlikehold eller reparasjoner.En biladministrasjonsløsning vil også bidra til å nå kommunens mål om klimanøytral drift og 100% nullutslippskjøretøy
