VLAIO beoogt met deze overheidsopdracht dat de dienstverlener zowel een algemeen kader uitwerkt om gemeenten te laten participeren aan BIZGIS als ook om de individuele gemeenten te ondersteunen, rekening houdende met de diverse GIS-capaciteiten van lokale besturen en de opportuniteiten om te participeren aan BIZGIS op basis van enkele scenario’s.
