Vanaf januari 2027 wordt een nieuw parkeerbeleid uitgerold in de Ieperse binnenstad. Om de bezoekers maximaal van dienste te zijn en het betalen voor het parkeren zo gemakkelijk mogelijk te maken in Ieper wenst het stadsbestuur - naast het betalen aan het parkeerautomaat - ook APP parkeren toe te passen. Het betreft een complementair betalingssysteem dat via een APP de toepasselijke parkeertarieven en andere parkeerreglementen op een flexibele manier kan aanbieden.
