De afdeling Belastingen is binnen MijnGemeenteDichtbij verantwoordelijk voor de volledige uitvoering van de gemeentelijke belastingtaken voor de gemeenten Boxtel en Sint-Michielsgestel. Dit omvat onder meer de jaarlijkse waardering van alle onroerende zaken in het kader van de Wet waardering onroerende zaken (Wet WOZ), het opleggen van gemeentelijke belastingen en heffingen aan inwoners en bedrijven, en de inning van deze aanslagen. Daarnaast waarborgt de afdeling een correcte en tijdige uitvoering van alle wettelijke verplichtingen die samenhangen met deze taken, waaronder gegevensuitwisseling met ketenpartners en het faciliteren van bezwaar- en beroepsprocedures.

De aanbestedende dienst heeft ervoor gekozen om een Europese aanbesteding te doorlopen volgens de openbare procedure om op deze wijze te komen tot een overeenkomst voor de ter beschikking stelling van een belasting applicatie in SaaS vorm.

De overeenkomst bestaat uit het ter beschikking stellen van een Belasting applicatie bestaande uit: - Een waarderingsapplicatie (WOZ); - Een belastingapplicatie voor heffing en inning; - Een Digitale Belastingbalie.
