Sealed Bids - For Sale – Pine Chip & Saw/Saw-timber, Pine Pulpwood, Hardwood Pulpwood and Hardwood Saw-Timber trees: Harvesting of selected Pine trees as specified in the Special Conditions of Sale. The sale consists of approximately the following: 1) 3,789 Pine Chip &Saw/Saw Timber trees containing 1,016,653 board feet Doyle Scale, FC 78; 2) 215 Pine Pulpwood trees containing 35 tons; 3) 1,310 Hardwood Pulpwood trees containing 331 tons; 44) 164 Hardwood Saw Timber trees containing 164 trees boardfeet Doyle Scale, FC 78). The timber to be harvested is located on approximately 61 acres in Forest Unit 8 and 20 (please see attached map), Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana as indicated on Timber Sale Map 18-1 Exhibit A(Attachment 2). A 10% bid deposit will be required with the submitted solicitation package. This agency will consider a bid from all responsible sources. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available; interested parties will have to download the solicitation package. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 113310 with size standard 500 people.
