Der Gemeindeverband Bezirkskrankenhaus Schwaz plant gemeinsam mit der Tiroler gemeinnützige Wohnungsbau- und Siedlungs Ges.m.b.H. am Areal des BKH Schwaz anstelle des bestehenden und veralteten Bildungszentrums einen Neubau zu errichten. Da das bestehende Bildungszentrum den zukünftigen Anforderungen nicht mehr entspricht und in seiner derzeitigen Lage einer geplanten Erweiterung der Klinik im Wege ist, soll der Neubau im Sinne einer Entflechtung am freien Nachbargrundstück neu errichtet werden.
