Asbestos Survey and Air Testing – Long Term

The London Borough of Islington is preparing to procure two UKAS Accredited contractors to deliver asbestos survey and air testing services to the Council’s estate of properties. This Notice is for informational purposes only and is not a formal invitation to tender. Its aim is to enhance transparency and competition for the upcoming tender notice. All details provided here may be updated or changed in the final tender notice. The Authority reserves the right to cancel, postpone, suspend or abort the procurement at any stage. The issue of this notice in no way commits the Authority to commence a procurement process. This Notice is to advertise Islington Borough Council’s desire to improve our experience in relation to Asbestos Survey and Air Testing services. We are keen to ensure that we design a specification and operating process that works most efficiently for everyone that comes into contact with asbestos services in and around the Council’s estate of properties. For the avoidance of doubt, this process is for the purpose of conducting a pre-market engagement exercise and does not formally begin a procurement process or constitute any commitment by Islington Borough Council to subsequently undertake a procurement process.
