Formålet med anskaffelsen er å inngå kontrakt med en leverandør om å levere steinmasser til Utskarpen i Rana kommune v/Sletten. Steinmassene skal benyttes til å etablere en erosjonssikring av en ravine i Utskarpen. Behovet for steinmasser er estimert inntil 6400 tonn. Oppdragsgiver forbeholder seg retten til å ta ut inntil ytterligere 1600 tonn dersom behovet endrer seg. Tidspunkt for oppstart er tentativt fra månedsskiftet august 2026. Arbeidene antas å pågå utover høsten til arbeidene er ferdigstilt innen desember 2026.
