Kystverket skal anskaffe en rammeavtale for dieselaggregat som brukes på fyrstasjoner.Kystverket har om lag 77 fyrstasjonar med dieselaggregat som backup for nettanlegg eller solcellepanel. Det er i snitt 2 aggregat pr fyrstasjon. Totalt om lag 150 stk.  Alle er for 230 V IT-nett, og er i storleiken 15-25 kVA. Majoriteten er 15-19 kVA. 3 stasjonar har døgnkontinuerleg drift og resten har drift etter behov, ved nettutfall, eller ved lav batterispenning. Driftsmodus er då at dei år med høg last og lader batteria i 4 timar. Deretter pause til batteria er utlada, før ny start. Kystverkets aggregat må ha lang tid mellom service, minst 3 mnd, og det som har fungert best er luftkjølte motorar utan drivreimar og vasspumpe, med 2 og 3-sylindere. Kystverket har også eit lite antal vaskjølte motorar som backup, der det er stabile nettanlegg.  Inklusiv proloeringer har anskaffelsen en antatt verdi på ca 6 mill. Maksimal verdi for anskaffelsen er ca 8 mill.
