2.1.1.1 Formål og bakgrunn Modum kommune har behov for et midlertidig kontorbygg som skal fungere som arbeidssted for kommunens barnevernsvirksomhet i en avgrenset periode på omlag 12-15 mnd. Formålet med anskaffelsen er å sikre kontinuitet i kommens tjenester og drift gjennom etablering av hensiktsmessige, tilgjengelige og funksjonelle lokaler. Lokalene skal legge til rette for ordinært kontorarbeid, saksbehandling, møter, samarbeid, fortrolige samtaler og nødvendige fellesfunksjoner.
