Formålet med anskaffelsen er å inngå nedstrømsavtaler som sikrer at avfallsfraksjonene betong,tegl, stein og springfjærmadrasser levert av REGs kunder ved gjenvinningsstasjonene blir mottatt, sortert og gjenvunnet med så høy grad av materialgjenvinning som mulig. For å kunne opprettholde og videreutvikle tjenestetilbudet overfor kommunens innbyggere og mindre næringsdrivende, må REG sørge for lovlige avsetningskanaler for avfallet.
Dagens nedstrømsavtaler med mottakssteder utløper 31.12.26.
