La République Démocratique du Congo a sollicité auprès du Groupe de la Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) un prêt de 90.000.000 d’unité de compte en vue du financement du Projet d’Appui à la Gouvernance et au Développement des Compétences en soutien au Programme de Transformation de l’Agriculture (PTA) « PAGDC-PTA». Le Projet constitue la première contribution du groupe de la BAD pour l’opérationnalisation des piliers III et IV du Programme de Transformation de l’agriculture (PTA-RDC). Il répond aux priorités du Gouvernement visant à accroitre la productivité et la compétitivité du secteur agricole à travers l’amélioration du climat des investissements et de la qualité de la main d’œuvre. Il est articulé autour des trois (3) composantes suivantes : (i) Appui à l’amélioration de la gouvernance du secteur agricole ; (ii) Appui à l’amélioration de la qualité de la main d’œuvre et de l'entrepreneuriat des jeunes et des femmes ; (iii) Coordination et gestion du Projet.
