Details

Bundaberg Regional Council (‘Council’) has identified miscellaneous premises at the Bundaberg Regional Airport (‘Airport’) that are suitable for lease. The Airport is located at Airport Drive, Kensington QLD 4670.

The premises available for lease under this tender are:[RH2.1]

  • Site “AM” - Approximately 904m² of airside land for construction of a general aviation aircraft hangar.
  • Site “BD”- Approximately 1,360m² of landside airport handstand area, approximately 20 metres wide by 68 metres deep, suitable for construction of buildings to support future aviation businesses, subject to relevant approvals and Airport requirements. Site BD does not have direct airside access from the lease area.

o Land adjoining Site BD – Approximately 1,340m² of landside land adjoining the right and rear boundaries of Site BD, available for aviation business requiring additional space for construction of a larger facility than Site BD allows.

o The additional adjoining land is only available in combination with Site BD. Respondents are not required to lease both Site BD and the adjoining land but may seek to do so. The combined area is approximately 30 meters wide by 90 meters deep. For clarity, the 1,360m² space will be referred to as Site “BD”, and the combined 2,700m² space as “BD+ adjoining land”.

  • Site “DD” – An established building upon approximately[DH3.1] 560m2 of landside land, approximately 28 metres wide by 20 metres deep, suitable for use by aviation or tourism related businesses as office/administration space. Site DD does not have direct airside access from the lease area.
  • Site “EI” - Approximately 315m² of airside land for construction of a general aviation aircraft hangar.
  • Site “EG” - Approximately 315m² of airside land for construction of a general aviation aircraft hangar.
