Details
Ecuador, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Program for the Modernization of Financial Administration". This call for International Public Bidding (IPL) invites eligible bidders to submit closed proposals for the renovation of technological storage infrastructure.
Scope of supply
Main objective: Acquisition of a SAN Director equipment for the replacement of computer equipment due to technological obsolescence in the institution.
Qualification Requirements and Conditions Regulatory framework and method: The process is governed by the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures established in the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods, applying the Best Final Offer (M.O.F.) scheme.
Evaluation criteria: Comprehensive compliance with the technical, financial and legal requirements stipulated in Section III of the bidding documents.
Margin of preference: No margin of economic preference will be granted to national contractors or consortia (APCA).
Required guarantee: It is mandatory to submit the Bid Maintenance Statement with the proposal.
Management and submission of bids Access to the rules: The tender documents in Spanish are available by formal request by email or through the official portal of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Delivery modality: Bids must be delivered physically and in a sealed envelope at the reception of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (Government Platform for Financial Management in Quito). Electronic bids will not be allowed and late submissions will be rejected. The public opening ceremony will be held with the option of attending in person or online.
