Details

Ecuador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank to partially finance the cost of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Program for Quito, and it is proposed to use part of the proceeds of this financing to make payments under the Contract detailed in the Request for Proposals. This contract will be financed in conjunction with funds from EPMAPS and AECID. The Metropolitan Public Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the acquisition of gauging, sampling and wastewater characterization equipment. The RFP number is EC-L1242-P00070 (publication IDB-4759OCEC-P00070-SPN). The operation is EC-L1242 and the loan is 4759/OC-EC.

It is an international public tender for goods, according to the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB, open to bidders from eligible countries. It follows the general notice published on January 20, 2020 (IDB-P455750-01/20). The tender will be governed by the rules of the alternative procurement arrangement to which the policies refer, if any.
