The Eden Leisure Foundation Partnership Opportunities 2027 supports registered voluntary organisations through financial and non-financial partnerships for projects that benefit culture, arts, heritage, environmental sustainability, animal protection, and community development. The Foundation offers support across small, medium, and large-scale projects, with funding opportunities ranging from £200 to £50,000 depending on the project category.
About the Eden Leisure Foundation Partnership Programme
The Eden Leisure Foundation invites registered voluntary organisations to submit proposals for projects that align with its charitable priorities. Support may include direct financial assistance as well as non-financial partnership opportunities. The programme is designed to support initiatives that create positive cultural, environmental, heritage, and social outcomes. Organisations can propose projects at different scales, allowing both smaller community initiatives and larger strategic projects to seek support. What Areas Does the Foundation Support? Proposals should contribute to one or more of the Foundation’s core focus areas: - Culture, arts and national heritage - Environmental protection and sustainability - Animal protection - Social and community advancement - Community outreach and engagement Projects should demonstrate a clear community, environmental, cultural, or heritage benefit and align with the charitable objectives of the Foundation. Funding Available The Eden Leisure Foundation provides opportunities at several funding levels. Small-Scale Projects The Foundation expects to select approximately 5 to 10 small-scale projects.

- Project value: £25,000 to £50,000
- The project should begin during 2027 - The standard project duration can be up to two years - Higher-value projects with longer implementation periods may also be considered Who Is Eligible? The opportunity is intended for registered voluntary organisations seeking partnership support for charitable projects. Eligible organisations should be able to demonstrate that their proposed activities contribute to one or more of the Foundation’s priority areas, including culture, heritage, environmental sustainability, animal protection, or community development. Applicants should ensure that their organisation has the appropriate legal and registration status before submitting a proposal. What Types of Projects Can Be Supported? The programme can support a broad range of projects, provided they align with the Foundation’s charitable priorities.
Potential project areas include:
- Arts and cultural initiatives - Community arts programmes - Heritage preservation and interpretation - National heritage projects - Environmental protection initiatives - Sustainability projects - Animal welfare and protection - Community development programmes - Social inclusion and outreach - Projects that strengthen local community participation - Activities that protect or promote cultural and natural heritage Large-scale proposals should demonstrate a particularly strong and sustainable impact because of the higher level of support available. Why the Eden Leisure Foundation Grant Matters The programme provides voluntary organisations with an opportunity to develop projects that may otherwise face funding limitations. Its multi-level funding structure is particularly useful because organisations can seek support appropriate to the scale of their activities. Smaller organisations can pursue modest projects, while established organisations can propose larger heritage, environmental, or community initiatives. The programme can also provide non-financial partnership support, which may help organisations develop relationships and increase the visibility or reach of their work. How the Partnership Programme Works Organisations should develop a proposal that clearly explains their project and demonstrates how it fits the Foundation’s priorities. Applicants should consider the following steps: - Confirm organisational eligibility Ensure that the organisation is a registered voluntary organisation and can meet the Foundation’s partnership requirements. - Identify the relevant funding category Determine whether the proposal is best suited to the small, medium, large-scale, or heritage project opportunity. - Define the project objectives Explain what the project will achieve and identify the community, cultural, environmental, or heritage need it addresses. - Develop a realistic budget Ensure that the requested amount corresponds with the proposed activities and the relevant funding range. - Explain the expected impact Describe who will benefit and how the project will create measurable or meaningful outcomes. - Demonstrate alignment with Foundation priorities Clearly connect the project to culture, arts, heritage, environmental sustainability, animal protection, or community development. - Prepare the proposal and supporting information Provide the information requested by the Foun
