Trondheim bydrift ved avdeling vann- og avløp har vært sertifisert i henhold til NS-EN ISO 9001 og NS-EN ISO 14001 siden 2006. I tillegg har Trondheim bydrift ved avdeling vann- og avløp inkludert et kvalitetssikringssystem for prøvetaking av avløpsvann og mengdemåling; tidligere akkreditert etter ISO 17025:2005, men som nå har et tilsvarende kvalitetssikringssystem for prøvetaking. Dette krever godkjenning av en kvalifisert nøytral instans. (ref. Forurensningsforskriften).Formålet med denne anskaffelsen er å inngå en avtale med én leverandør som kan gjennomføre:Resertifisering og årlige oppfølgingsrevisjoner etter de til enhver tid gjeldende versjoner av NS-EN ISO 9001 og NS-EN ISO 14001 (herunder de reviderte 2026-versjonene), ogFormell, uavhengig vurdering og godkjenning av teknisk kompetanse for prøvetaking av avløpsvann og mengdemåling iht. ISO 17025:2017.
