Current ATM View - 10032377 Cascade Pier Upgrades – Statutory Approvals Documentation The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to manage and deliver all planning, environmental, heritage, and regulatory approvals required for the Cascade Pier Upgrades Project on Norfolk Island. The successful supplier will prepare, coordinate and progress all necessary assessments, studies, applications and supporting documentation to obtain statutory approvals, including compliance with the Norfolk Island Planning Act, the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act), and other relevant Commonwealth and Norfolk Island legislative requirements, culminating in a complete, coordinated and construction-ready approvals package to enable a commencement of works. Tenderers should demonstrate a clear understanding of the environmental, heritage, planning and logistical considerations associated with projects on Norfolk Island. Existing project information will be provided to the successful supplier. The supplier will be expected to liaise with Commonwealth agencies, Norfolk Island Regional Council and relevant stakeholders to support delivery of the approvals package.
